Index Description
The Sprott Zacks Gold Miners Index was co-developed by Sprott Asset Management LP and Zacks Index Services. The Index uses a transparent, rules-based methodology that is designed to identify gold stocks with attractive investment merit. The methodology was developed by leveraging Sprott’s experience as a long-time gold sector investor and Zacks research capabilities. The Index is designed to incorporate the factors that have historically been strong predictors of long-term performance of gold stocks. The 4-step process of selecting the stocks, weighting them in the Index and rebalancing quarterly ensures that the Index reflects the most current factor scores.

Index Description
The Sprott Zacks Junior Gold Miners Index is comprised of junior gold and junior silver mining companies that trade on major U.S. or Canadian exchanges. Junior companies include early stage mining companies that are in the exploration phase only or hold properties that might not ultimately produce gold or silver. Each constituent must derive a majority of its revenues from gold and/or silver mining activities. While ensuring that the selected constituents are investible, Zacks uses its proprietary, rules-driven model that seeks to outperform a purely passive representation of the smaller market capitalized companies in the gold and silver mining industry. The Index is modified market capitalization weighted and reconstituted twice a year.

Index Description
The Summit Zacks Global Water Index is comprised of approximately 30 to 50 equities selected from a stringently defined universe of U.S. and international companies with a significant portion of their business activities dedicated to the global water industry. The Index is comprised of two segments, Water Utilities and Water Industrials, and individual positions are selected using a “smart” methodology designed to identify those companies that offer the greatest potential from a yield and risk/return perspective while maintaining global diversification. The strategy utilizes a proprietary three-factor model that ranks the data points that have been determined through rigorous testing to be the most relevant to company valuation and profitability in the global water industry. A weighting scheme based on dividend yield rather than market capitalization is further applied to enhance the overall yield of the Index. The Index was created in collaboration with Summit Water Capital Advisors, which has been designing investment strategies in the global water industry for more than 25 years.
